Why Wacker Neuson Cutter engine does not start?
- RRobert MartinAug 5, 2025
If your Wacker Neuson Cutter's engine is hard to start, or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. Check the STOP switch to ensure it's off, and inspect the wiring, plug cap, and spark plug for any faults or short circuits. Also, examine the choke position, carburetor, suction head, and fuel line. The choke should be correctly set, and the carburetor and suction head should be clean, with no bends or interruptions in the fuel line. Issues may also arise from a defective cylinder base packing ring, radial shaft packings, or cylinder/piston rings. Ensure the spark plug seals properly. Lastly, inspect the starter spring and engine for broken parts.
