3.8.2 Service
Only have the machine repaired or maintained by qualified technically trained
personnel.
Only use original spare parts. This preserves the operational safety of the
machine.
3.8.3 Safety of persons
Working under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication can cause seri-
ous injuries.
Appropriate protective equipment is to be worn for all work. Appropriate pro-
tective equipment reduces the risk of injury considerably.
Remove tools before operating the machine.
3.8.4 Handling and use
Never operate machines whose switches are defective. Have defective
switches exchanged immediately. Machines with defective switches have a
high risk of injury.
Store unused machines out of the reach of children. The machine may only
be operated by authorized personnel.
Handle the machine with care. Have defective parts exchanged immediately
before the machine is operated. Defective machines have a high risk of acci-
dents.
Use the machine, accessories, insertion tools, etc. according to these instruc-
tions.
3.9 Specific safety instructions - Battery charger
3.9.1 External influences
Only use the battery charger indoors and keep away from rain and moisture.
3.9.2 Operational safety
Only charge approved rechargeable batteries from Wacker Neuson.
Damaged battery chargers may not be used.
Damaged rechargeable batteries may not be recharged.
Immediately de-energize the battery charger in the event of faults.
