6 Operation
6.1 Prior to starting the machine
Before you start the engine, check the following:
f Fuel level – the tank should be at least half full.
f Motor oil level – see 7.2 Checking engine oil level (page 22).
f Air filter – see 7.5 Cleaning the fuel dirt separator (page 25).
f Fuel lines for leaks.
f External screw connections for tightness.
6.2 Starting up
If machines are connected to the generator, they must be disconnected before
you start the engine.
Disconnecting machines
f Turn off the main switch.
f Switch off all connected machines.
f Disconnect all connected machines from the power unit.

manual, see chapter Safety information.
Improper use can result in injury or serious material damage.
