12.When the gas valve opens, adjust the gas pressure to:
■ 6.4 in. w.c. for natural gas
■ 6.52 in. w.c. for liquid propane (LP)
Note: Turning the Maxitrol regulator (j) adjusting screw clockwise increases the
pressure. Turning the Maxitrol regulator adjusting screw counterclockwise reduces
the pressure.
13.Observe a few burner cycles to ensure the gas pressure is set properly.
14.After the pressure is set:
a. Shut down the machine.
b. Close the gas supply valve.
c. Remove the manometer and the manometer barbed adapter fitting.
d. Replace the gas valve pressure test plug.
e. Replace the Maxitrol regulator stem dust plug.
