4.19 Ducting Guidelines
Duct Types
Use appropriate type (Heat range) and length of duct.
Use Black or Gray duct for supply air.
Use Yellow duct for return air only.
Belt cuffs should be used to connect duct sections together. For optimum
performance, connect ducting with flow arrows pointing in the correct direction
so the inner seams lie flat during operation.
Use the screw clamps (a) at the source to connect the air supply duct adapter to
the machine.
CAUTION
Use of Yellow duct (rated for 200°F MAX) for supply ducting (required rating 280°F)
can result in damage to the duct or unplanned shutdown if the ducting fails.
► Do not use Yellow duct for supply ducting. Yellow duct is for RETURN
DUCTING ONLY.
