Water separator maintenance
1. Place a container under water separator 1 (Fig. 140).
2. Remove the drain plug from the filter.
➥ The collected water now drains.
3. Firmly re-tighten the drain plug.
4. Bleed the fuel system.
Bleeding the fuel system
1. Add fuel to the fuel tank.
2. Turn the starting key to position I so that the electric
fuel-feed pump works.
3. Wait one minute.
➥ The system bleeds itself automatically.
4. The engine is then ready to be started.
