9.10 Coolant
Information on coolants
Check the coolant level regularly. The coolant must cover
the radiator fins. Ensure that enough antifreeze is always
added to the coolant, even in summer. The antifreeze
also prevents internal corrosion of the radiator and the
engine.
The coolant should be made up to equal parts of water
and antifreeze. This mixture ensures the best possible
ratio between cooling performance, antifreeze and anti-
corrosion protection.

1. Use the 1:1 concentration for warm outside temperatures too in order to ensure
protection against corrosion, cavitation and deposits.
2. Do not mix the coolant with other coolants.
