7.8 Engine lubrication system
Information on the engine lubrication system
Risk of injury due to hot and moving engine parts!
Hot and moving engine parts can cause injury.
► Do not open the engine cover if the engine is running.
► Let the engine cool down.
► Wear protective equipment.
Checking the engine oil level
Damage due to incorrect engine oil level.
► The oil level must not drop below the “Min” mark on the
engine oil dipstick.
► The oil level must not rise above the “Max” mark on the
engine oil dipstick.
