WORKING WITH DISPLAY TOGGLE
DISPLAY TOGGLE is available only on multiple monitor systems. This feature allows you to work with your
tablet on either all displays or on one display at a time, thus providing more control for your work. After
setting one of the ExpressKeys to D
ISPLAY TOGGLE, you can then press that button to toggle the current
tablet mapping between a base mapping (the current setting from the M
APPING tab) and each of the
monitors sequentially.
In the Wacom Tablet control panel, the D
ISPLAY TOGGLE tab is automatically available when the Intuos3
tablet is installed on a multi-monitor system. This tab lets you set which display will be included in the toggle
sequence.
Note: If more than one ExpressKey is set to D
ISPLAY TOGGLE, they will each function identically based on
your control panel settings for the D
ISPLAY TOGGLE function.
All monitors are selected by default.
Uncheck any monitor you want
removed from the toggle sequence.
• When the base mapping is
active, your tablet and display
mappings follow the MAPPING
tab settings for all devices and
applications.
• As you toggle to the next
display, each tool’s active tablet
area is mapped to that display
(in PEN mode).
• Your settings on the MAPPING
tab for ORIENTATION, FORCE
PROPORTIONS, and TABLET AREA
are maintained for all devices
and applications.
• Toggling one more time after the
last checked display returns the
system to the base mappings
set in the MAPPING tab.
Note that any of the following actions will return the toggle sequence to the
base mapping:
• Launching a graphics application that supports pressure sensitivity.
• Logging out of or rebooting the system.
• Switching users (Fast User Switching).
• Hot-plugging the tablet.
• Placing the system in sleep mode.
• Changing the MAPPING or DISPLAY TOGGLE tab settings.
• Changing the resolution or number of displays on your system.
• Using the MODE TOGGLE... function.
• Selecting PEN MODE or MOUSE MODE from the Pop-up Menu.
Tip: To toggle between monitors
without including the ‘full display’
option, disable the first display on the
DISPLAY TOGGLE tab. Then go to the
MAPPING tab and set the current
SCREEN AREA to the first display.
