Proper cleaning and lubrication of certain
components of the SMART Roller are critical
to prolonging the life of the components.
If after extended use the plunger has a
tendency to stick, apply a generous amount
of petroleum jelly located on the end of the
plunger (see Lubricating the components,
step 2).
Attention
When storing the Smart Roller, make sure
the ll valve is pointing downward, and
never store the Smart Roller with the ll tube
inserted into the ll valve.
lubricatinG the componentS
1.
Turn the locking collar as shown until the main tube
slides easily o of the plunger.
2. Lubricate around and in between the plunger O-rings
with petroleum jelly.
3. Re-insert the plunger back inside the main tube. Make
sure the O-rings do not twist or cut.
4. Tighten the locking collar.
5. Lubricate the inside of the ll valve housing on the main
tube with petroleum jelly.
6. Clean and lubricate with petroleum jelly the indicated
areas on the roller arm.
7. Reassemble roller cover. Place back onto roller arm.
8. Attach roller arm to head.
