4.8 ATTACHING / UNHOOKING SKID STEER
The machine is shipped from the factory in a
basic, universal conguration that allows it to be
mounted to any model skid steer. However, the
skid steer must be equipped with a remote hy-
draulic outlet on the front of the cab frame.
The Woodsplitter should always be located on
a level, dry area that is free of debris and other
foreign objects. When attaching the Woodsplitter
to the skid steer, follow this procedure:
1. Make sure that all bystanders, especially
small children are clear of the work area.
2. Make sure there is enough room and clearance
to safely drive up to the splitter.
3. Drive up to the splitter while aligning the mount-
ing components.
