USING MIDI TO BYPASS
You can also bypass the TERRAFORM via MIDI by associating a MIDI
program change with bypass. To do this, press and hold the Preset
Button until the Preset LEDs blink. Press the Preset Button until all 4
preset LEDs are blinking simultaneously. Send a program change via
MIDI to the TERRAFORM, and then press and hold the Preset
Button until the Preset LEDs return to normal. The TERRAFORM will
now associate that MIDI program change with bypassing the
TERRAFORM.
THE GEEKY STUFF
You’ll be delighted to know that this will be the most sparse section
in the manual, as there isn’t a lot to talk about. Here it is in full.
PROGRAM CHANGE: To change the preset, send a MIDI program
change (0xC0) on any channel with the desired program as the
second byte. Example: 0xC0 0x08 -> loads preset stored in patch 8
TAP TEMPO: To trigger a tap tempo press, send a MIDI control
change (0xB0) on any channel with 0x51 0x00 as the second and
third bytes. Example: 0xB0 0x51 0x00
MIDI CHANNEL
The TERRAFORM can be configured to respond to any of the 16
midi channels 1-16, or all of them (omni mode). The default is omni
mode, so you will get an instant response from midi inputs. To
change this, power off TERRAFORM, hold preset switch, and then
power on and release the preset switch. the preset LEDs will display
the current channel number in binary+1 (channel 1 = 0 LEDs,
channel 2 is the right most LED, channel 3 is the third LED, etc).
Omni mode is when all 4 LED sweep through. Press the preset
switch to cycle up the channels, and then hold for 5 seconds when
the desired channel is selected. This will save the required channel
and restart the TERRAFORM.
0000 = channel 1 0001 = channel 2 0010 = channel 3
0011 = channel 4 0100 = channel 5 0101 = channel 6
0110 = channel 7 0111 = channel 8 1000 = channel 9
1001 = channel 10 1010 = channel 11 1011 = channel 12
1100 = channel 13 1101 = channel 14 1110 = channel 15
1111 = channel 16
(all four sweeping through) = omni (responds to any channel)
