Why does my Warmup Thermostat show a WiFi error symbol?

  The WiFi error symbol on your Warmup Thermostat indicates a problem with the WiFi connection. This could be because the WiFi hasn't been set up yet. To resolve this, download the MyHeating App, go to Settings and Network setup, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to a WiFi Network. Alternatively, the WiFi may have disconnected. In this case, follow the same steps to try and reconnect to the WiFi Network. If the 6iE still fails to connect, see WiFi Troubleshooting.

What to do if heating is coming on earlier than programmed times on my Warmup 6iE?

  If the heating is activating sooner than expected on your Warmup Thermostat, it's likely due to the adaptive learning feature (Early Start) being enabled. This function analyzes past heating/cooling patterns, daily external temperatures, and forecasted external temperatures to determine when to start heating to reach the desired temperature at the beginning of the comfort period. This feature only works in Program Mode.

How to fix a blank display on my Warmup 6iE Thermostat?

  If your Warmup Thermostat display is blank, there are a couple of things to check. First, ensure that the standby brightness is not set to Off. If the brightness is not the issue, an electrician is required to verify power is going to the 6iE and that it is correctly wired.

Why I cannot set above a certain temperature on my Warmup 6iE?

  If you cannot set the temperature above a certain level on your Warmup Thermostat, it's likely due to floor type temperature limits. Delicate floor coverings, such as wood, laminate, or vinyl, require temperature restrictions. If your thermostat is set for one of these floor types, you won't be able to set the temperature above 81°F.

  The clock sync icon on your Warmup Thermostat indicates that the time and date have not been set. To resolve this, connect the 6iE to a WiFi network or manually set the time and date from the settings menu.

What to do if my Warmup 6iE shows ER1/ER2?

  If your Warmup Thermostat displays an ER1 or ER2 error, it indicates a sensor error. An electrician is required to verify that the floor sensor has been wired correctly. If the wiring is correct, the electrician will need to check the resistance of the floor sensor using a multimeter. For temperatures between 68°F - 86°F, the resistance should measure between 8K ohms and 12K ohms. If a fault is found and the 6iE is in the room to be heated, it can be set to “Air Mode” in the Advanced Settings under Sensors & Application by switching the probe off.

Why is my Warmup 6iE heating coming on earlier than programmed?

  Your Warmup Thermostat's heating might be starting earlier than expected because adaptive learning is enabled. This feature uses past heating and cooling rates, along with external temperatures (historic and forecast), to calculate the optimal start time to reach your desired comfort level at the beginning of the programmed comfort period. Note that adaptive learning only functions in Program Mode.

Why can't I set my Warmup 6iE Thermostat above a certain temperature?

  If you cannot set your Warmup Thermostat above a certain temperature, it is likely due to floor type temperature limits. Delicate floor coverings, such as wood, laminate, or vinyl, require temperature restrictions. If your thermostat is set for one of these floor types, the maximum temperature setting will be limited to 27°C.

  If your Warmup Thermostat is displaying an ER1 error, it indicates a sensor error. An electrician is required to verify that the floor sensor has been wired correctly. If the wiring is correct, the electrician will need to check the resistance of the floor sensor using a multimeter. For temperatures between 20°C - 30°C, the resistance should measure between 8K ohms and 12K ohms. If a fault is found and the 6iE is in the room to be heated, it can be set to “Air Mode”. To do this, go to Sensors & Application in Advanced Settings and switch the probe off.
