Why is my Water Ace Water Pump not delivering rated capacity?

  If your Water Ace Water Pump isn't delivering its rated capacity, several factors could be at play. Start by checking that the suction pipe is submerged at least 3 feet below the water level and ensure the voltage of the pump matches the voltage of the power supply. Also, inspect the valve, suction piping, foot valve, or well point. Reduce the discharge system head, check for any leaks, and if the pump flow exceeds the well's capability, reduce the pump flow. Confirm all connections are airtight and that the suction pipe is 1-1/2".

  If your Water Ace Water Pump motor overheats and shuts off, make sure the motor voltage matches the power supply voltage. You may also want to check if the impeller is rubbing against the pump case. Refer to the Wire Size Guide on page 3.

  If your Water Ace Water Pump vibrates or is noisy, ensure that the pump foundation is sufficient. Also, check for a bent shaft, worn motor bearing, or a clogged impeller. Note that the well depth should not exceed the pump's capability.
