Why is my Water Ace R106 not pumping water?
    • R
      Ryan MitchellAug 5, 2025
Your Water Ace Water Pump might not be delivering water, or is delivering it at a reduced rate, due to several reasons. There may be an air leak in the inlet suction connection. Try tightening the inlet connection and ensuring the hose gasket is in place and in good condition. Other potential causes include a vertical pumping distance exceeding 20 feet, an inlet hose longer than 25 feet, a plugged or kinked inlet hose, a collapsed hose liner, a worn impeller (see replacement instructions on page 2), or a worn pump body, which would require complete pump replacement.

What to do if my Water Ace R106 runs then stops?
    • E
      Emily BakerAug 15, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump runs and then stops (115 volt AC models only), it could be due to several reasons. The motor may have overheated, causing the motor overload to trip. The overload protector will automatically reset about 10 minutes after tripping. Disconnect from the power supply and allow the motor to cool. Also, check if the pump outlet hose is plugged or kinked and remove any obstruction or kink. Another cause could be the impeller is jammed with foreign material, see replacement instructions on page 2; no need to replace the impeller if it is not damaged.

What causes a Water Ace R106 motor to hum but not turn and then shut off?
    • B
      Brian GrayAug 25, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump motor hums but does not turn, and eventually shuts off, the impeller might be jammed with foreign material. See replacement instructions on page 2. There's no need to replace the impeller if it is not damaged.
