What to do if my Water Ace R201A Water Pump runs, but no water comes out?
    • E
      Edward ReyesAug 9, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump is running but not delivering water, several issues could be the cause. It could be that the check valve is stuck—try shaking the pipe or raising and lowering the unit. If this doesn't work, remove the pump and clear any obstructions from the check valve. Other potential causes include a clogged intake (clean the screen or slots), worn impellers or diffuser (clean or replace them), a low well water level (lower the pump or install a low restrictor), or leaks (check all connections for airtightness). Also, low voltage to the pump can be a factor, so have the voltage checked by an electrician. The well might also be too deep for the pump.

Why won't my Water Ace Water Pump start?
    • Y
      ygarciaAug 15, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump won't run, start by checking the fuse or circuit breaker. Also, inspect the piping for broken or open leads. If the fuse or breaker is fine, the pressure switch may be malfunctioning and need replacement. For 3-wire pumps, a control panel malfunction could also be the cause, so have an electrician check it.

How to fix a Water Ace R201A that starts too often?
    • J
      jgarciaAug 22, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump starts too frequently, here are some things to check: * The pressure switch might be out of adjustment; follow the instructions on the inside of the switch cover to adjust it. * The check valve could be stuck open or seated improperly; try cleaning or replacing it. * If you have a bladder tank, release air from the tank's air charge valve. If water bubbles or spits out, the bladder has a hole. For galvanized tanks, check for a defective air-volume control. * There may be a leak in the system.

What to do if my Water Ace Water Pump won't shut off?
    • T
      Timothy LongAug 28, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump does not shut off automatically, the pressure switch may be out of adjustment; follow the instructions on the inside of the switch cover. Alternatively, the pressure switch could be defective and need replacement. Other potential causes include a worn pump, a low well water level (lower the pump or install a flow restrictor). The well might also be too deep for the pump.

Why does my Water Ace R201A blow fuses or trip breakers?
    • R
      Randy DavisSep 3, 2025
If your Water Ace Water Pump is blowing fuses, tripping breakers, or overloading, the fuses or breakers might be too small. Also, the wire size could be too small. A grounded motor or cable could also be the issue; have an electrician check it with an ohmmeter. Additionally, voltage that is too high or too low can cause these problems, so have it checked by an electrician. For 3-wire pumps, an incorrect control box could be the cause; compare the nameplate rating on the box to the pump HP.
