Roller brake in the rear hub
SHIMANO multi-purpose roller brakes use a precision cam and roller
mechanism that produces braking that is both powerful and easy to
control. The cooling disc with large radial fins efficiently dissipates heat,
thus preventing weakening of the braking due to heating and increasing
the life of the lubricant. Sealing channels prevent the entry of water and
dirt to guarantee very safe and reliable braking in the rain and in dry
weather.
