nylon
line
to
change
the
spool
from
a
locked
position
to
the
operating
position.

The
spool
should
be
replaced
when:
1.)
The
square
corners
of
the
drive
lugs
are
rounded
off,
reduced
In
size,
or
broken
off.

the
spool,

3.
DRIVE
GEAR
REPLACEMENT
a.
The
drive
gear
should
be
replaced
when
either
the
square
or
pyramid
drive
lugs
are
rounded
off,
reduced
In
size,
or
broken
off.

NOTE:
Using
the
spool
as
a
tool,
is
the
best
way
to
remove
and
install
the
drive
gear.
1.)
Turn
the
spool
upside
down
fitting
the
spool
drive
lugs
to
the
drive
lugs
on
the
drive
gear;
turn
counterclockwise
NOTE:
If
the
drive
gear
cannot
be
removed
with
the
spool,
grasp
side
and
center
of
drive
gear
with
pliers
or
fit
the
bladed
end
of
a
large
screw
driver
In
the
top
opening
of
the
drive
gear.
Turn
counterclockwise

Install
new
drive
gear
using
spool
as
described
above;
turn
clockwise
