What causes Motor Overtemperature in WEG DC Drives?
- PPeter NavarroAug 29, 2025
Motor Overtemperature (F078) in WEG DC Drives can be caused by: * Excessive load at the motor shaft. * Excessive duty cycle (too many starts / stops per minute). * High surrounding air temperature. * Loose connection or short-circuit in the wiring connected to the motor termistor. Ensure low loads and verify motor termistor installation to address this issue.
