7.5 Setting the respiratory air humidier
Once the humidier is connected to the therapy device it is ready for use. The humidier starts automatically when the therapy starts.
It is also possible to preheat the humidier before starting the therapy in order to make your therapy more comfortable. To do this, press the humidier button
,
set your preferred humidier output, and start your therapy a few minutes later.
There are nine humidier levels available (1-9), with 1 being the lowest output and 9 the highest. The level which is suitable for you depends on the room temperature
and the humidity. The standard setting is level 5.
Setting the humidier level:
The and keys can be used
to increase or decrease the humidier
level.
Press the
button.
Screen in "Standby, humidier ready for use" mode Screen in "Therapy, humidier active" mode
Screen in "Standby, humidier in operation" mode (preheating)
Increase the humidier level if your airways feel dry
during the therapy. Decrease the humidier level if
condensation forms in the respiration hose during
the therapy.
