gravity).
To ensure the most accurate measurements, do the following:
• Perform the procedure each time a urine output measurement is needed.
• Do not rely on subtracting a known weight for a dry diaper from the displayed weight
of a wet diaper.
• Remove any fecal matter from the wet diaper before starting the weighing
procedure. The change in the dry and wet diaper should only reflect urine content.

CAUTION Any computer connected to the scale must be running on
battery power, a 60601-1-compliant power supply, or a 60601-1-compliant

1. Connect the USB Type B male side of the cable to the USB port on the rear of the
scale.
2. Connect the USB Type A male side of the cable into a USB port on your computer.
Windows automatically installs the necessary driver.
3. Press SEND DATA on the scale to send the current measurement to the computer.

1. Connect the USB Type B male side of the cable to the USB port on the rear of the
scale.
2. Connect the USB Type A male side of the cable into a USB port on the rear of your
device.
3. Press SEND DATA on the scale to send the current measurement to the device.
