  Your Wen Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons. First, ensure the engine switch is set to the "ON" position and the fuel valve is also in the "ON" position. Check that the choke is closed. Make sure the generator has enough gas and that the gas isn't old or contaminated. A dirty or broken spark plug, a non-level surface, low oil, or a dirty air cleaner could also prevent the engine from starting. Finally, if equipped, check the battery.
