Timing Gears' Removal
1. Pry the snap ring out and remove the idle gear.
2. Remove the valve camshaft and injection pump cam-
shaft on which the respective gears are press-fitted.
Remove the gears from the shafts.
3. Remove the crankshaft. Remove the gear from the
crankshaft.
Timing Gears' Inspection
Check the removed gears. If any gear is found defective,
replace it.
