      If your Whynter Air Conditioner turns on, but the compressor doesn't (the fan runs, but it's not cooling), it could be due to several reasons. The room temperature might be outside the unit's operational range of 64°F to 95°F. Ensure the Cooling mode is selected by pressing the MODE button until the COOL light appears. Allow the compressor 3 minutes to start after selecting Cooling mode. Also, the set temperature might be too high; try setting it lower, ideally at least 5°F below the ambient temperature. Lastly, if the internal water reservoir is full, drain it manually or run the fan-only mode to exhaust the water.
