If the Wiedenmann Farm Equipment Super 600 isn't collecting material well during verticutting, several factors could be at play. It might be that the verticutting knives are worn, either shortened or unevenly worn; in such cases, replace the knives or turn them by 180°. If the pickup cuttings are damp or there's heavy dew, try reducing the working depth or operating speed, or consider fitting with wider spacing. Excessive intake or too narrow spacing between scarifying blades can also cause this, so again, reduce working depth or operating speed, or fit with wider spacing. Also, check if the perforated screen surfaces of the hopper gate and container are dirty and clean them as described in Section 7.5. Finally, ensure the channel is clean.
