8.2.2 Battery replacement
Wear protective gloves!
Use protective gloves when damaged or leaking/leaked batteries must be
removed.
1. Switch off the instrument and lay it face down.
2. Loosen the three screws of the battery compartment, see Fig. 2 “Position of the
battery compartment”.
3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Remove exhausted batteries.
5. Insert the three AA-sized batteries in correct polarity.

Make sure that the polarity, (+) or (-), on the batteries matches the markings in the
battery compartment.
6. Put the battery cover on and tighten it with the screw.

Tighten the upper screw first.
▶
Maximum tightening torque of the screws is < 0.4 Nm
