Step 3: UPRIGHT COLUMN & CROSSBEAM INSTALLATION
Remove upright from packaging and place in position on floor. Each upright will be
positioned by the laser cut notches. The notches will be positioned as shown above.
Lay both uprights next to each other with enough space in between to slide the cross beam
over the ends of both uprights. Use the top caps placed roughly 2 feet from the top to hold
the cross beam up off the ground.
Layout the crossbeam as shown above. Make sure that you have the linkage set up correct
based on your power unit orientation. The picture above shows that short linkage rod to
the left. This means that this will be the corner that the power unit will be located. If you are
planning to have the power unit in the opposite corner, you will want to switch to have the
short linkage to the right in the same direction as above. (Use image on page 9 as a
reference for power unit positioning.)
Before sliding cross beam, use one of the nylon blocks on each side to lock the safety lock
open.
