With one person on each side begin sliding the cross beam into place. You will need to hold
the secondary lock open, so it does not catch the notches and stop your progress.
Once you have carefully slid the cross beam down a foot, lift the cross beam and move the
top cap to the opposite side.
Now, continue carefully sliding the cross beam down until it locks into the 6
th
notch from the
bottom. ** Double check that the main safety lock, bottom lock is engaged and that it is not
stuck on the secondary top lock.
With one person on the end of each upright post, carefully stand up the uprights and
crossbeams. Make sure the base plates are sitting level on the ground and are stable before
walking away. Use caution not to bump or run into these posts as they could fall and
causing damage, serious injury or death.
