loose to allow the axels to travel in/out slightly while transiting the ruwnays. Once the
jack tray is in place you can assemble the 2 locks to each side of the tray using the
provided hex head fastener kit. Once the lock has been installed, adjust the threaded rod
to the necessary spot to allow the lock to hold the tray when engaged. At this point you
can also set your 3 plastic drip trays on the center channels between the runways. These
can be placed anywhere along the center to provide protection below.
After installation is completed, before start up, be sure to inspect and tighten all
bolts.
When lowering the lift PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION that all persons and objects are
kept clear. ALWAYS keep a visual line of site on the lift AT ALL TIMES. ALWAYS
make sure that all FOUR LOCKS are disengaged. If one of the locks inadvertently
locks on descent the lift and/or vehicle may disrupt causing personal injury or
death
Operation
To raise the lift (Note: The top lock notch is for secondary lock, when
lift is raised to max height, the main locks will engage in second notch
from the top)
⚫ Drive the vehicle onto the platform. Make sure that the vehicles transmission is in
park/gear. Set vehicles parking brake. Chock the vehicles wheels, remove approach
ramps and insert rear wheel stops (included with lift).
⚫ Stand Clear- Press Power button to raise the vehicle to desired height. Once desired
height is reached release the power button.
⚫ Use the release level on the power unit to lower the lift onto the safety latches. Make
sure all 4 corners are locked
To lower the lift
⚫ Be sure the safety area is free of people and objects;
⚫ Raise the lift a little bit by pushing power button to allow the safety latches clearance
to be released.
⚫ Pull down on the release handle. Once release handle is pulled at the same time
also press the release lever on the power unit to lower the lift. Release lever must be
held open the entire time the lift is being lowered.
⚫ Lower the lift completely
⚫ PAY ATTENTION while lowering the lift. If the locks are not opened fully one of the
lock dogs can catch which will result in the platform lowering unevenly. If this occurs,
STOP, raise the lift back until it is level and open the locks fully to then lower the lift.
⚫ IF THE LOCKS GET CAUGHT you will very likely need to readjust the locks for them
to function correctly. This is accomplished by lowering the lift down onto the locks
(same lock height for all corners), loosening up both 19mm nuts on either end of the
long black center rod and then retightening them back down. This will relieve the
built in torsion that occurred when the lift corner caught and will allow the system to
“reset”.
