1. Mark positions of the parts that belong together with a coloured pen or scriber.
2. Mount the impeller disc, impeller (2.1) and key(s) (3.2) on the shaft and tighten
with the impeller nut (2.2).
3. Mount the protective grid (7.1) with interior hexagonal head screws (7.2).
4. Put the slide-in unit down at a safe workplace. To continue dismantling the slide-
in unit, fix it vertically in position with the drive shaft facing downward. The kit
must be removed vertically to avoid damage to the impellers, neck rings and other
parts.
5. Insert a new housing seal (1.2).
6. Carefully insert the slide-in unit into the spiral housing (1.1) and tighten with the
hexagon head screws (14).

When tightening the screws, use the following tightening torques.

10 Faults, causes and remedies
DANGER
Risk of death due to electrocution!
Improper conduct when carrying out electrical work can lead to death due to electric
shock! Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance
with the locally applicable regulations.
