Connecting 8. Connect the pipework.
5.2 Electrical connection
• Install a fixed connecting cable with an outer
diameter of 5 – 8 mm which is equipped with a
connector device or an all-pole switch (the con
-
tact opening width should be at least 3 mm).
• It is recommended to safeguard the pump with
a residual-current-operated protection switch.
• Maximum back-up fuse: 10 A, slow-blow.
CAUTION: Stop and non-return valves are
already pre-installed at a tightening torque
of 15 Nm (hand-tight). Tightening up to an
excessive tightening torque destroys the valve
screw connection and the O-ring.
When installing the valve, use an open-end
wrench to prevent twisting.
DANGER:
Only a qualified electrician is per

mitted to work on the electrical connection.
Before making the connection, ensure that the
connecting cable is not live.
NOTICE: The pump requires a permanent
power supply so that the pump functions can be
fully utilised. Do not connect the pump to a
boiler control system.
