8. INSTALLATION (General)
NOTE: Fiue Le ngth . See n ote in S ect i on 2- Techn ical Da ta
about standard flue assemb ly and ex tension flue .
To check whetner an extension flue is required ;.
Rear flue leng th l is measu red 1rom the rear of the appliance
to the outside face of th e wall, i.e. wal l th~c k.ne ss . Side flue
length l is measured from the applia nce wh i te side panel to
the outs i de face of the waiL See Sect ion 2 · Technical D ata

1. Unpack the app:iance a nd check the c ontents against the
eoclosed check lis t.
2. Unpack the s tandard f!ue assembly and fl u£ extensio n,
if required. arod c heck th<! cont ents aQa in st ~he enclosed
check li st . Ensure a!; ca rdb oard pa cking in the standard
fl ue assembly and Hue exte nsion is removed .
3. W ith the aid of the tixing lemj:Jia te and d!meosions given
in Fig. 4, p in thu te mplate to the wal l on w t- .ich tl'>e
Hppliance is to be fixed. To ensure the top edge of the
t emp la te is level use a plumb- line to ali gn the ver tical
cel"'tre-li
ne of the template .

position on the w all. The hor i zon ta l cent re line must not

5. Remove t he fix i ng tem plate .
6. Cut a hole in the wa !l 1 25 mm !5 in.) diamete r.
7. Drill the four r etain ing s crew holes 7 mm (0 . 27 in.i dia.
x 70 mm (2. 75 in. I deep. F it t he wall pl ugs provided.

wall mounting plate m us t be blanked off w ith one o1 the
bl<!n ki ng off caps provided before fixi'1g to th e wal l as
tor:ows:-

the c la mp i ng plate i>Y adjust i ng the two socket headed
screws on the top edge of tne wail mount ing plate. See
Fig. 6 .
