Why is my WRIGHT Z EXTREME leaving streaks?
    • R
      Rachel BradyAug 8, 2025
Streaking can occur for several reasons. The blades may not be sharp enough (sharpen blades) or they could be worn down too far (replace blades). Ensure the engine RPM is at full throttle while mowing. If you're moving too fast, slow down. Also, check if the deck is clogged with grass and clean it if necessary.

What to do if my WRIGHT Z EXTREME is scalping the lawn?
    • J
      Jim LewisAug 15, 2025
Scalping can happen if the lawn is uneven; consider rolling or leveling the lawn. If the cutting height is too low, raise it. Also, ensure the deck is leveled correctly and that the tire pressure is even.

Why does my WRIGHT Lawn Mower have stepped cutting?
    • D
      Dana MartinezAug 23, 2025
Stepped cutting can happen for a few reasons. First, the deck may not be leveled correctly, so level the deck. Second, check that the tires are properly installed and inflated. Also, inspect the blades for damage and replace them if needed. A damaged deck shell or a bent/loose spindle could also be the culprit; repair or replace these parts as necessary. Finally, make sure the blades are installed correctly.

How to fix stringers with my WRIGHT Lawn Mower?
    • G
      Gregory DanielsAug 29, 2025
Stringers can occur if the blades are dull or nicked; sharpen them. If the blades are worn down too far, replace them. Ensure the engine RPM is at full throttle while mowing and that your ground speed isn't too fast—slow down if needed. A deck clogged with grass can also cause stringers, so clean the deck.
