Why is measured inverter output too low on my Xantrex Powerpack 100 Power Supply?
    • C
      Christopher FitzpatrickAug 9, 2025
The measured inverter output on your Xantrex Power Supply might be too low due to a few potential causes: * If you're using a standard “average-reading” AC voltmeter, it might give a reading that's 5 to 15V lower than the actual output voltage. * If the vehicle battery or Powerpack voltage is too low, recharge the vehicle battery or Powerpack. * The inverter’s “modified sine wave” output requires a “true RMS” voltmeter for accurate measurements.

      Sean RoseAug 19, 2025
If the AC product will not operate and no inverter lights are ON, it may be due to: * The vehicle battery may be required. Check the battery and replace it if defective. * There may be loose connections. Check the connections. * The fuse may be blown. Replace the fuse.

What to do if AC product will not operate, red light is ON on my Xantrex Powerpack 100?
    • A
      Alex JamesOct 29, 2025
If the AC product does not operate and the red light is ON, it could be due to several reasons: * The connected AC product(s) may be rated at more than the inverter’s continuous power rating, leading to an overload shutdown. Try using a product with a lower power rating. * The AC product's high starting surge might have caused an overload shutdown, even if its rated power is less than the inverter’s continuous power rating. Use a product with a starting surge power within the inverter’s capability. * The vehicle battery may be discharged. Recharge the battery. * The inverter may have overheated due to poor ventilation. Unplug the DC cable, allow the inverter to cool for 15 minutes, remove any obstructions, move the inverter to a cooler place, reduce the load if continuous operatio...
