Installation with External Transfer Relay (120/240
System)
When the generator is running the main AC panel, leg 1 and leg 2 of the generator are connected
independently to the two halves of the main AC panel. When the inverter is operating, both sides of
the main AC panel are automatically connected together. Only 120 VAC is available when the
inverter is operating.
Do not use this system if there are 240 VAC loads!
