Duplex Automatic Document Feeder Guidelines
The duplex automatic document feeder accommodates the following paper sizes and weights:
• B8145 / B8155:
– Original document weights: 38–128 g/m²
– Original document sizes: 85 x 125 mm–297 x 432 mm (3.3 x 4.9–11.7 x 17 in.)
– Original document quantity: 130 sheets of 80-g/m² paper
• B8170:
– Original document weights: 38–200 g/m²
– Original document sizes: 84 x 140–297 x 432 mm (3.3 x 5–11.7 x 17 in.)
– Original document quantity: 250 sheets of 80-g/m² paper
Follow these guidelines when you load original documents into the duplex automatic document
feeder:
• Load original documents face up so that the top of the document enters the feeder first.
• Place only loose sheets of undamaged paper in the duplex automatic document feeder.
• Adjust the paper guides so that they fit against the original documents.
