First, inspect the cable connections to ensure they are secure. Then, check if the scanner’s status light is on; if not, turn on the scanner’s power and try plugging it directly into a wall outlet. If issues persist, restart both your computer and the scanner. Also, if you’re using a USB hub, connect the scanner’s USB cable directly to the back of the computer. The recommended USB cable length is 6’ or less. Finally, ensure that Xerox[®] DocuMate[®] 152i is selected as the scanner in your scanning software.
