5. Insert the remaining three mounting screws (B) and tighten them (Figure4-20).

6. Align the mounting studs (A) on the rear of the detector with the mounting stud slots on the mounting
bracket, and slide the detector down until the top of the detector is flush with the top of the mounting
bracket (Figure4-21).

7. Open the door on the front of the detector (Figure4-22). Refer to Section 7.2 on page 72 for further
information on how to open the door.
8. Insert and tighten the locking screw (A). This secures the detector to the mounting bracket.
