Software
Rebuild Zone List Re-learns the list of display modules that are
assigned to the detector on the VESDAnet.
Start Major Fault Test Generates a major fault on the detector and de-
energizes the fault relay for 2 minutes.
Start Minor Fault Test Generates a minor fault on the detector and de-
energizes the fault relay for 2 minutes.
Start Alarm Test This causes the detector to simulate a user-selected
alarm condition for a user-selected sector. The
detector will behave as if real smoke has been
detected.
Alarm relays will energize unless the detector is
disabled.
Start Air Flow Fault Test Tests the air flow sensing system by shutting down
the aspirator.
Start Relay Test Tests the available relays by activating and
deactivating as required.
Start LED Test Tests each LEDby cycling through all LEDs on the
detector display panel.
Return to Factory
Defaults
Restores the configuration of the detector to the
initial factory default values.
Set System Date and
Time
Sets the detector date and time.
Smoke Scan Causes the detector to start scanning for alarms in
all the sectors configured as in use
Start Valve Test Causes the detector to test that all four scanning
valves close correctly.
