Pump design
The pump is submersible, and driven by an electric motor.
Intended use
The product is intended for moving waste water, sludge, raw and clean water. Always
follow the limits given in Application limits (page 35). If there is a question regarding the
intended use of the equipment, please contact a local sales and service representative
before proceeding.
WARNING:
In explosive or flammable environments, only use Ex- or MSHA-approved pumps.
For information about pH, see Application limits (page 35).
The warm media (liquid) version has certain operational limitations, which are stated on a
plate on the pump. For applicability, see Application limits (page 35).
Particle size
The pump can handle liquid containing particles that correspond to the holes in the
strainer.

Monitoring equipment
The following applies to the monitoring equipment of the pump:
• The stator incorporates thermal contacts connected in series that activate the alarm at
overtemperature.
• The thermal contacts open at 125°C (257°F) and close at 70°C (160°F).
