2. Install the wheel rim in the
tire. Make sure the stem of the
inner tube is aligned with the
slot in the rim.
3. Turn over the rim and tire. Put
blocks under the rim so that the
rim is 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in.) above
the floor. Install the flange seat (if
used) and the lock ring.
4. Put the lock ring in the correct
position on the rim. Add air pres-
sure to the tire as described in
Add Air to Pneumatic Tires
With Tube.
Tire Installation, Two-Piece Wheel
CAUTION
Do not use pneumatic-shaped, solid tires on two-piece
bolt together drive wheels. Spinning may occur.
1. Install the inner tube and the
rubber flap in the tire. Install both
halves of the wheel rim in the tire.
Make sure the stem of the inner
tube is aligned with the slot in the
rim.
