Procedure
1) Remove the spark plug cap cover by
removing two screws.
2) Remove the aprons by removing
eight screws.
3) Remove the starter mechanism by
removing three bolts.
4) Prepare the engine for starting. See
STARTING ENGINE for procedures.
5) To start the engine with the emer-
gency starter rope, insert the knotted
end of the rope into the notch in the
flywheel rotor and wind the rope one
or two turns clockwise. Then, give a
strong pull straight out to crank the
engine. Repeat if necessary.
