 The water separator-alert indicator will
come on or blink.
 The pop-up window will appear on the
Multi-Display.
 The buzzer will sound intermittently when
the control lever is in the neutral position.
If the alert system has activated
Stop the engine and see page 105 of this
manual to drain the water from the fuel filter.
Return to port and consult a Yamaha dealer
immediately.
NOTICE

Although the buzzer will stop when the en-
gine is started and the control lever is
moved to the forward or reverse position,
do not use the outboard motor. Otherwise,
serious engine damage could occur.
