About the VCA functionality
40
If the VCA MUTE switch of a VCA master fader is
turned on (the indicator beside the switch will light),
the post-fader signal of all input channels assigned to
that VCA group will be muted. This is convenient
when you wish to simultaneously mute or un-mute
multiple channels without operating the faders.
By using this in conjunction with the Scene Memory
function, you can also mute only specific inputs
within a VCA group. In the above example, if you
recall a scene in which chorus 1–3 (inputs 12–14) are
turned off, chorus 1–3 will be muted from VCA
groups 4, 6, and 8.
