Brake pedal
Press the brake pedal to slow and stop the
vehicle.
This model is equipped with a brake override
system. When the accelerator pedal is
pressed and then the brake pedal is also
pressed, engine speed will be automatically
reduced.
TIP
When the brake pedal is pressed and then the
accelerator pedal is pressed, the brake over-
ride system will not engage.

Parking brake lever
Setting the parking brake lever will help keep
the vehicle from moving while parked.
To engage the parking brake, pull the lever
firmly.
