CHECK TENSION AND CONDITION OF AUXILIARY BELT

Proceed only with engine not running and at low
temperature to avoid any risk of burns.
• Remove the belt cover (1) from the pulley and the
belt.

• Check that the belt (1) is not worn, soiled with oil
or fuel, or showing signs of tears. If any of these
conditions are identified, replace the belt.
• Check the efficiency of the tensioner (3) using the
tool (2) on the tensioner as indicated in the figure.
• Reposition the belt cover in its seat and tighten
the fasteners.
