<Disengage the differential lock>
1. Release the differential lock pedal completely.
To prevent tipping of the tractor:
do not attempt to turn with the differential
lock engaged
do not engage the differential lock while the
tractor is traveling at a high speed
IMPORTANT
If differential lock does not disengage after
removing foot from the differential lock pedal:
Change turning direction side to side while
driving slowly.
Travel direction can also be changed between
forward and reverse to make differential lock
disengage.
These actions equalize the traction force on the
differential.
Then release the differential lock pedal.
To prevent damage to the differential gears,
Never use the differential lock while traveling at
high speed.
The differential lock is designed to be used for
short durations.
Prolonged use can damage the differential gears.
NOTE
Engaging the differential lock:
locks the right and left rear axles.
the right and left rear axles simultaneously
rotate at the same speed.
the preceding action allows the tractor to
develop maximum traction force.
IMPORTANT
Always decrease the travel speed when using the
differential lock.
