Chiller Style/Compressor
(Software version C.OPT.11.03.01.004(and later))
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Used to enter the chiller style/compressor combina-
tion. Once the chiller style/compressor combination
is entered, the program controls the chiller per the re-
quirements of the entered chiller and compressor. The
selection determines the minimum (default) allowable
coastdown duration programmable with the COAST-
DOWN TIME Setpoint on the SETUP Screen. Service
Technicians refer to YORK Service Manual 160.69-
M1.
Flow Switch (Digital/Analog)
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Configures the program to read the appropriate in-
put for the chilled and condenser water flow sensors.
The chiller will accept either site-installed paddle type
(Digital) flow sensors or factory mounted (Analog)
flow sensors to sense the evaporator and condenser wa-
ter flow. The paddle type flow sensors are identified
as Digital because they are equipped with normally
open contacts that, when closed, apply 115Vac to I/O
Board digital inputs on terminal TB4-12(evaporator)
and TB4-11(condenser). The factory mounted type
flow sensors are identified as Analog because they
are equipped with normally open contacts that, when
closed, apply +5vdc to the Microboard analog inputs
at J7-14(evaporator) and J7-16 (condenser). Service
Technicians refer to YORK Service Manual 160.69-
M1.
VGD (Enabled/Disabled)
(Software version C.MLM.11.02.xxx (and later) or
C.OPT.11.02.300 (and later))
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Enables and disables the Variable Geometry Diffuser
feature. If equipped with this feature, it should be en-
abled. Otherwise, it should be disabled.
