wlan.associated
type: getvar
This parameter refers to whether the printer is associated
with an access point (AP).
getvar result This will return “yes” if the printer is associated
and “no” if the printer is not associated with the
access point.
Example Description This command instructs the printer
to respond with yes or no.
Syntax ! U1 getvar “wlan.associated”
Result “yes”
wlan.auth_type
type: getvar;setvar
This parameter selects the authentication service to be
used between the printer and the Access Point. Open
System and Shared Key are the two types of authentica-
tion services.
getvar result Current authentication type.
Example Description This command instructs the printer
to retrieve the current
authentication type.
Syntax ! U1 getvar “wlan.auth_type”
Result “open”
setvar choices “open”, “shared”
Default “open”
Example Description This command instructs the printer
to set the authentication type to
Shared Key.
Syntax ! U1 setvar “wlan.auth_type”
“shared”
Result The authentication type will be set
to Shared Key after power cycle.
