Zebra GX420d Setup for Windows
This document will help you set up your Zebra
®
GX420d
™
wireless thermal desktop label printer.
After you unpack your printer, perform the following steps on each computer from which you will
print. You may find it helpful to consult your network administrator or IT technician first.
*NOTE: Do not plug the printer into your computer. You will do that later in the procedure below.
**NOTE: Before continuing, you’ll need to gather the following information about your network:
 Static IP address
 Subnet mask
 Default gateway
 SSID
 Security Mode: (For example: WPA2)
 Wireless password or key
To perform initial printer setup
1. Insert the Zebra Setup Utilities CD.
2. Double-click the Zebra Application.exe file. The installation wizard displays.
3. Accept the default settings by clicking Next in each window.
4. In the final window, click Finish.
